I’ve never tried herbal tea before. Is this still for me?

Yes — that’s exactly what Rooted, the one-time trial, is built for. You don’t need any experience with herbs, and you don’t need to already think of yourself as a “tea person.” We start with a real conversation about what you’re looking for and go from there.

Do I have to subscribe, or can I try it first?

You can try it first. Rooted is a one-time $74 purchase — one custom blend and one real consultation, no ongoing commitment. If it feels right, Nourished and Restored are the ongoing options, and both actually cost less per month than trying Rooted once.

What happens on my consultation call?

We talk through your intake answers, your goals, and anything else that feels relevant — no rushing, and everyone gets the same 60 minutes, no matter which option they choose. It’s a real conversation, not a script.

Always. Every blend ships with a Brew Card listing exactly what’s in it and why it was built that way for you. What you won’t get is the precise ratio or formulation logic behind it — that’s the part that makes it genuinely yours, not something to recreate at home.

Will I know what’s actually in my blend?

Pause anytime. Nourished and Restored can both be paused for up to two months at a time, up to twice a year — no charge while you’re paused, and your price and your spot are exactly as you left them when you’re ready to come back.

Can I cancel, or switch between Nourished and Restored?

Yes, anytime. There’s no long-term contract on either subscription — you can upgrade, downgrade, pause, or cancel whenever you need to.

Because each blend is made specifically for you after a real consultation, blends can’t be refunded once they’ve been formulated. If you need to cancel before your consultation happens, you’ll get a full refund, no questions asked.

I source from Mountain Rose Herbs, a well-established, reputable supplier, and everything is made in small batches by me personally. I Need Tea operates under a California Cottage Food license and seller’s permit.

It depends, and I’d rather be honest about that upfront than overpromise. Some situations are outside what I can responsibly support as an herbalist still in training, and in those cases I’ll always tell you directly and point you toward the right resource instead. This gets sorted out during intake, before anything is charged for a blend.

What’s your refund policy?

Not necessarily, and it’s exactly why the intake form asks. Every blend is checked against everything you’re currently taking before it’s ever made. If something you take over the counter overlaps with what the tea would already support, I might mention that — but I never recommend changing anything prescribed by your doctor. That’s always between you and them.

What if I refer a friend?

I’m an herbalist in training, not a licensed medical professional, and I Need Tea is built to support your overall wellness — not to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease.
